What is Horizon 2020?
Supporting research and innovation projects of small and medium-sized European companies to increase their competitiveness: this is the aim of the funding measure “SMEs Tool”.
In order to provide an overview of the extent and some practical tips on how to write a successful proposal, the Chamber of Commerce of Novara and Unioncamere Piemonte are organizing a workshop, in collaboration with Industrial Association of Novara and Confindustria Piemonte, within the Enterprise Europe Network. The workshop will begin with an opening remarks by Cristina D’Ercole, general secretary of the Chamber of Commerce of Novara, to which the intervention of Antonio Carbone of the National Contact Point oPEN “Innovation in SMEs” will follow. Mr. Carbone will enter into the merits of the main characteristics of the SME instrument, illustrating the Italian results.

To bring their own testimony, as Piedmontese companies that have a candidate to successfully complete its projects on the first two phases of the instrument, will be Giuseppe Volta (EID srl) and Roberto Cimberio (Cimberio S.p.A.)
The workshop will conclude with the presentation of the services provided by the Enterprise Europe Network to promote and support innovation, illustrated by Katia Costa of Unioncamere Piemonte and Marta Serrano of Confindustria Piemonte.
It will also be possible to carry out individual interviews with the experts of the Enterprise Europe Network and the National Contact Point in order to get an initial assessment of your project idea.
